Profile Audio/Video System Specialist
Full time – permanent contract
Location: Rome with willingness to travel
Requirements
Experience in the following areas:
- Installation, configuration, functionality testing, troubleshooting of complex audio-video systems;
- Video reproduction, filming, management and distribution (large format displays, cameras, video distribution systems and signal processing);
- Audio reproduction, filming, management and distribution (audio speakers, microphones, audio signal distribution and processing);
- arrays, scalers, processors, transmitters, receivers, microphones, mixers, amplifiers, and other active or passive equipment from major vendors (Extron, Crestron, Biamp, Samsung, Shure, Kramer, Barco, etc.);
- Installation, testing and troubleshooting of video communication systems;
- Capacity in the management of advanced AV projects, involving the ability to liaise with the client, control assigned internal and external workers, participate in periodic progress meetings, and produce reports to be shared with the project controllers;
- Knowledge of programming in java and python and in particular of home automation and room control systems (typically Crestron, AMX, Kramer and other IP-based control systems);
It will also have to prove:
- Basic knowledge of networking (basics of TCP/IP, and LAN, WAN concepts);
- Ability to work in a team and flexibility;
- Willingness to travel nationally;
- Good knowledge of the English language
Preferably has:
- Crestron, Extron, Kramer certifications for the control part;
- Biamp, Shure, QSC for the DSP part certifications (digital audio processors)
