tt group’s Technological Support for Doctors Without Borders
Who DWB are and why support them
Doctors Without Borders (DWB) is an independent international humanitarian organization, founded in 1971 in Paris by doctors and journalists with the aim of providing immediate aid to victims of wars, epidemics, and natural disasters.
Based on the principles of neutrality, independence, and impartiality, MSF operates with the belief that no one should be deprived of the right to healthcare, offering emergency medical assistance to those who need it most, anywhere in the world.
Today, MSF is active in over 70 countries, with thousands of staff intervening in contexts of conflict, disasters, or limited access to healthcare. Beyond emergency aid, MSF promotes prevention, vaccinations, maternal and child health, psychological support, and assistance to victims of sexual violence, often serving as the only available healthcare provider.
A distinctive feature of MSF is its commitment to witnessing forgotten crises, denouncing human rights violations, and giving voice to those who cannot be heard. With courage and humanity, MSF continues to remind us that health is a fundamental right, and that solidarity can truly change people’s lives.
tt group’s commitment
tt group is proud to have contributed to the development of the new Doctors Without Borders headquarters in Rome, in the heart of the San Lorenzo district. This ambitious project combines innovation, sustainability, and inclusion, serving as a concrete model of collaboration between business and solidarity.
The new MSF headquarters was designed to enhance the organization’s impact and provide an efficient, flexible, and people-oriented working environment. Developed with the support of 18 partner companies, the project has achieved a 50% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to the previous site and earned LEED Gold certification, an international recognition for sustainable buildings.
Within this initiative, tt group provided state-of-the-art multimedia and videoconferencing systems, enabling smooth communication and effective coordination between MSF teams in Italy and in the numerous countries where MSF operates. The contribution also included technical design and configuration of high-efficiency audio-video systems, integrated with the building’s technological infrastructure and contributing to energy savings.
For tt group, this project represents much more than a simple technology supply: it is a concrete example of corporate social responsibility (CSR), a commitment to applying expertise in support of organizations that generate human and environmental value. Collaborating with Médecins Sans Frontières means sharing a vision where technological innovation becomes a tool for solidarity and progress.
The new MSF space, spanning three floors, integrates flexible workstations, digital meeting rooms, informal areas for team building, and an intelligent energy management system. The use of technologies provided by tt group has helped create a modern, connected, and sustainable environment, capable of meeting the needs of an organization that confronts humanitarian emergencies in over 74 countries every day.
Supporting a project like this means investing in the future, promoting a collaborative model between companies and NGOs that generates mutual value and contributes to a more equitable and sustainable world.
