Monitoring of trace oil in water treatment processes
Description
The instrument is used to monitor trace levels of oil in raw, surface, process, and wastewater. Thanks to its non-contact free-fall measurement design, there are no reading errors caused by window fouling, and maintenance requirements are extremely low.
The factory setting is calibrated using the EPA-PAH 16 standard. However, OilGuard 2 W can be recalibrated by the user using a secondary standard (solid reference), allowing for accurate recalibration without the need for EPA-PAH 16.
The clever design of the OilGuard 2 W, combined with the high quality of its optical components, minimizes the impact of interferences. This ensures precise detection of even the smallest oil traces, as well as larger concentrations.
The instrument can be adapted to different types of oil to meet specific customer requirements, and instrument control is simple thanks to the appropriate software solutions.
