LabScat is a compact, high-performance laboratory turbidimeter designed for the precise measurement of turbidity in test tubes and cuvettes, with a particular focus on applications in the beverage, food, chemical, and pharmaceutical sectors.

Thanks to dual-beam measurement technology and dual-angle reading with chromatic compensation according to the MEBAK standard, the instrument ensures reliable results over a wide measurement range, from a few mEBC up to 500 EBC, even at low temperatures (0 °C). The test tube is centered and rotated in a thermostated water bath to minimize interference caused by the container and to ensure stable measurement conditions.

The compact design reduces bench space requirements and allows the use of the most common types of test tubes. The device is equipped with an integrated control unit featuring a color touchscreen display and web browser, enabling intuitive, clear, and password-protected operation. Water quality in the bath is automatically monitored, and maintenance is simple thanks to tool-free access and the ability to perform quality control and any recalibration using a secondary standard, without the use of Formazin.
