Training Day 2025 – Sustainable Water Management and Reuse of Treated

On July 7, 2025, at the headquarters of the Order of Engineers of the Province of Rome in Piazza della Repubblica, the 2025 Training Day for Engineers of Lazio took place, organized by the Sustainability and Ecological Transition Commission.
This event offered a valuable opportunity for technical discussion and professional updating, focused on sustainable water management and the reuse of treated wastewater, two key elements in the path toward ecological transition and a circular economy.

Two seminars to explore the future of water

The day was structured into two thematic seminars. The first, titled “Overview of Sustainable Water Management and Reuse of Treated Wastewater,” featured experts from prominent organizations such as CNR, ISTAT, ISPRA, UTILITALIA, and ISS.
The presentations addressed critical topics such as the impact of climate change on water availability, future consumption projections, and integrated resource management strategies. Considerable attention was also given to economic, regulatory, and health aspects related to water reuse, with a focus on water safety plans and risk assessment.
The second seminar, “Technologies for Reuse of Treated Wastewater and Case Studies,” highlighted the most advanced technological solutions, from filtration and disinfection treatments to innovative biofiltration and photocatalysis processes. Among the participants, tt group Industrial, alongside companies like Xylem, ACEA, ABBANOA, and Metropolitana Milanese, presented their projects and experiences, showing how technology can make water reuse both practical and safe.

Innovation delivered by tt group Industrial

During the second seminar, tt group Industrial showcased the Bactosense device, a cutting-edge technology for real-time water quality monitoring. The system can detect pathogens and microbial cells, measure turbidity, and analyze bacterial growth processes, providing a complete and immediate view of water conditions.
Thanks to its precision and reliability, Bactosense represents a concrete step toward more sustainable and efficient water management, allowing industrial processes to be optimized and non-potable water to be reused in productive or environmental contexts according to circular economy principles.

A concrete commitment to the future

For tt group Industrial, participating in the Training Day was a concrete opportunity to demonstrate its commitment to innovation and sustainability. The company confirms its ability to address environmental challenges with practical technological solutions. Every project is developed through research, quality, and technical expertise, with the goal of creating a more efficient, intelligent, and environmentally responsible industrial future.
