SA8000® Policy
In the awareness that commitment towards workers is an essential element for the development of the organization, TT Group intends to undertake the Certification process of its Social Responsibility Management System in accordance with the SA8000® standard.
TT Group is aware of the importance of a correct and transparent management of its “human capital”, as well as its enhancement and growth. To the same end, it is essential to raise awareness of compliance with the principles of Social Responsibility established in the SA8000® standard among suppliers, employees, shareholders and all external collaborators of the organization.
TT Group identifies as central and priority objectives the compliance with the ethical requirements defined in the SA8000® standard and in particular:
- Comply with current national legislation, international conventions and recommendations, including resolutions of international bodies such as the ILO – International Labour Organization and the UN – United Nations Organization;
- Not employ child labour for its activities and purposes, and ensure that no such practices exist within its supply chain;
- Ensure that personnel perform their work voluntarily and therefore without constraints, and that original documents belonging to workers are not retained;
- Provide a safe and healthy workplace, with particular reference to careful risk assessment and management and to an adequate training program;
- Respect the right of all personnel to join trade unions and the right to collective bargaining;
- Guarantee equal treatment for all workers;
- Ensure respect for the physical, moral and emotional integrity of workers and, for this reason, neither internally nor within its supply chain admits disciplinary practices contrary to the fundamental rights of the person;
- Comply with applicable laws and sector standards through the application of the relevant National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL), guaranteeing all workers compliance with the remuneration conditions set out in the CCNL;
- Maintain dialogue with the community in the interest of users and stakeholders through attention to requests from interested parties and continuous adaptation to growing social needs.
Maintain ethics in the relationship with its employees, considered a fundamental resource and an asset that the company pursues through:
- The adoption of international and national regulations and of the SA8000® Standard relating to the management of human resources;
- Continuous dialogue with its employees, in order to carry out ongoing action to improve working conditions and the health and safety of workers;
- The analysis of its own context and potential risks, defining programs and objectives in the field of CSR.
Increasing attention in the selection of its Suppliers and in the control of the supply chain, in order to extend the philosophy of respect for employees and users through:
- The request for adherence to the principles of the SA8000® Standard
- Monitoring the application of the same within the supply chain
- The dissemination of the culture of Social Responsibility to suppliers
In order to ensure the application of the principles described above, TT Group undertakes to implement appropriate monitoring actions through its own verification tools, in order to intervene should there be information regarding non-compliant situations or violations of what is established by the SA8000® standard.
In order to disseminate and enhance the contents of the commitment promoted by the organization, existing communication tools will be used, including IT networks.
TT Group srl encourages the conscious use of the communication channels provided for the submission of reports on alleged or ascertained violations of the provisions of this integrated policy, guaranteeing the absence of any retaliation against employees and/or other interested parties who provide comments, recommendations, reports or complaints.
Reports on Social Responsibility issues and requirements may also be submitted by sending the REPORT / COMPLAINT / SUGGESTION FORM to the SOCIAL PERFORMANCE TEAM (SPT), or another written note in free form to the following email addresses sgi@tt-goup.it
